Our pet parrots have become quite the obsession and constant source of entertainment in our household. We started with Dylan, who we acquired at about 10 weeks old in the fall of 1994

Dylan is a Senegal Parrot and true to the species, is always swinging, playing and generally clowning around. Dylan is very people friendly and loves to be with you.
At the BFBS pet parrot show when she was one year old she won 1st place. The next show she entered was the NPA show in 2002. She won "Best medium sized Parrot" and then "Best in Show" - way to go Dylan Elizabeth!

Anyone who knows me, without asking could correctly assume that Dylan although female is named after Bob! (another great obsession of mine:)

Albert

Albert is our Double Yellow Head Amazon. We adopted Albert at 10 years old and he's about 17 now. Although quite a threat to anyone else, he's as tame as can be with me.

Although he is basically a "perch potato" he loves music, and commotion (especially from children). He has a very clear speaking voice and quite a large vocabulary.

Albert was in bad feather and health when we adopted him, but with proper diet and exercise is now the perfect example of a healthy Amazon. Albert proudly won first place at a BFBS pet bird show, and at our local show in 2002 he won the "Best Large Parrot" class. We're quite proud of both Dylan and Albert.
