Hi, I’m Erin Marie — the artist behind Critters On Canvas and the hand that draws the floof. After 15 years of creating art, I have finally found my scratching post: digital pet portraits.
What started as a personal joy project, has grown into something a little bigger, a little wilder, and a whole lot more meaningful. I draw pets digitally, by hand, one at a time — not for profit but for the love of animals, art, and small acts of kindness. Every portrait is free, always. That said, if you’d like to support the process, donations are welcome (but never expected).
When the stylus is down, I am a stay at home wife and mom of two boys, balancing art with a beautifully chaotic life, full of noise, nature, and a whole lot of paws, claws, and tails. Our home doubles as a little indoor sanctuary of critters, where inspiration is never in short supply.
I started Critters on Canvas as a way to share something good, simple, and joy-filled. Whether you’re here to admire the artwork, submit your own critter for a portrait, or just soak up the floof — I am so glad you stopped by.
Stay as long as you’d like, just don’t knock anything off the counter.
All the Whiskers,
Erin Marie
